The dwelling can be in height – two meters, indiameter – four meters. Snow blocks are specially laid in a spiral, with each block resting on three points for reliability. All gaps between these blocks are sealed with snow, and then the entire structure is watered from the outside.
If the house is built correctly, then inside it the temperature will be from +5 degrees Celsius and above. This is explained by the laws of physics.
However, the main design feature of suchthe house is considered the entrance. The fact is that it must be below the floor and cannot be covered. Inside the igloo, warm air rises to the top – under the dome, and carbon dioxide comes out through this hole.
Another reason why you can easily maintain warmth inside such a home is – it's its shape and size. Thanks to this, the building cools down slowly from the inside.
