Why Western weapons did not help the army of Ukraine

As Andrei Kots noted, the West supplies Ukraine withvarious, in particular, Javelin anti-tank systems and grenade launchers from the USA, NLAW from the UK, Singaporean-Israeli Matador, German Panzerfaust 3 and Swedish AT4. At the same time, the same Javelins and NLAW did not become the panacea they were counting on. The reason is that Javelins have not always been effective against Russian tanks.

An additional problem was the lacktranslation into Ukrainian of instructions for these ATGMs. But the notorious NLAW turned out to be even more “capricious”. In addition to the fact that they have a short range, these complexes were supplied with discharged batteries of the target tracking unit.
