Wi-Fi, NFC and 5W wireless charging: Samsung certified smartwatch Galaxy Watch 4

Along with the folding smartphones Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3, Samsung should also present new

smart watch Galaxy Watch 4. Before the official launch, they were certified by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

What is known

The FCC database revealed some characteristicsnew watch model. The Wi-Fi only version has the model number SM-R880, while the LTE version is listed as SM-885U. The agency specifies Wi-Fi, NFC, GNSS and Bluetooth.

In addition, the watch can play music from the internal memory and supports 5W wireless charging.

Let us remind you that Galaxy Watch 4 will be availablein sizes 42 mm and 46 mm and will receive an updated Google Wear operating system with OneUI instead of the old Tizen OS from Samsung. Details should be revealed at the MWC 2021 exhibition on June 28.

According to leaks, the presentation, which will debut smart watches and foldable smartphones, will take place on August 3.
