Holding "Russian Helicopters" of the Rostec state corporationFor the first time in modern history, he presented six vehicles of various classes and purposes at the exhibition. At the same time, the Mi-28NE, Ka-52 Alligator, Mi-171A2 and Ka-226T Mountaineer helicopters appeared at the air show for the first time. After the exhibition, Andrei Boginsky spoke about what the new attack helicopter will be like, which will replace the Mi in the future -28 and Ka-52.

According to the general director of the holding“Russian Helicopters”, the next machine will be a fundamentally new attack helicopter. To begin with, it will be optionally manned. This means that it will be both an unmanned and a manned version. Also, the next generation of helicopters must be able to communicate informationally not only with each other, but also with other aircraft - airplanes, UAVs and more.

In an interview, Andrei Boginsky noted the importance of unification of weapons on helicopters of the future - the machines will be able to carry any weapon.

This is also the universality of the use of this or that weapon, which can be mounted on different types of aircraft, that is, the unification of weapons.

As for the appearance of the helicopter, the questionremains open, it is possible that the new machine may be very different from the existing ones. “When the requirements are finalized, it will be possible to say how these requirements will be met,” notes the general director of the Russian Helicopters holding company.

Let us remind you that the Ka-52 helicopter is distinguished by its uniquecharacteristics—the ability to be based on a ship, folding blades, folding wings for compact storage. The Mi-28NE has other characteristics that the Ka-52 does not have. Andrey Baginsky emphasizes that these are the two best machines in their class, “they will satisfy the needs of any demanding customer, depending on the application mission, goals and objectives,” he concludes.
