Windows 10 will warn about the "death" of SSD

The Windows 10 development team said it included a monitoring tool as part of the operating system.

For now, the innovation is available only to Windows Insider program members in preview build number 20226.

New tool enables Windows 10analyze the activity of using the SSD, calculate its lifespan, detect various problems in the operation of the drive and notify the user about the need to create a backup copy of data.

This is a really useful feature, since any SSD will degrade sooner or later. Thanks to the new tool, users will be able to replace the SSD on time and not lose data.

Today it also became known that in some builds of Windows 10 Insider Preview, an option for archiving rarely used applications has appeared.
