Windows 10 will not receive major updates after 22H2 and support will end on October 14, 2025

Microsoft has made another attempt to push users to switch to the Windows 11 operating system.Company

said that the upcoming update will be the last major update for Windows 10.

What is known

Windows 10 won't receive major updatesafter 22H2. The operating system end of life is scheduled for October 14, 2025. This applies to versions of Windows 10 Enterprise, Education, Home and Pro.

The only exception is Windows 10 Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC). This version of the operating system will receive updates after October 14, 2025.

Microsoft "strongly recommends"users to switch to the Windows 11 operating system, which appeared a year and a half ago. Windows 10, released in 2015, will no longer receive additional features.
