As reported by Windowscentral, a poll has surfaced on Xbox Insider Hub suggesting that Microsoft is looking to expand

Its power-saving features for Xbox consoles and PC games.

What else is known

Microsoft asks users about features,which would reduce the frame rate and resolution. This will reduce power consumption. It's worth noting that polling doesn't necessarily mean a feature is about to arrive. But Microsoft is clearly interested in this topic.

Windowscentral also shared a screenshot withquestions from Microsoft. The survey asks users if they would be interested in features that reduce power consumption in games, both during operation and in standby mode.
