The Game Awards 2019 successfully thundered. On the stage of the event, not only loud announcements were heard, but also the winners

in the nominations for the best games of 2019.

The best of the best

The prize for the "Best Game of 2019" went to Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. The game was released on March 22, 2019, becoming the next "Souls-like" project From Software. At the same time, the game was distinguished from dark souls by a more dynamic combat system and setting. Critics with Metacritic set the project 90 points, while players rated the efforts of From Software at 8.0.

Note that Sekiro also took the prize in the category "Best Adventure Game."

Three prizes were taken away by the developers of Disco Elysium. The project received an award as "Best Independent Game", "Best RPG", as well as a prize for "Best Story". As in the case of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, the game was well appreciated by both critics and gamers. It is noteworthy that in Disco Elysium the gameplay is built around dialogs, and there are no battles in the usual sense at all.

Three statuettes taken away and Kojima with his DeathStranding The project received the main prize in the categories of "Best Director", "Best Music", and Mads Mikkelsen took the prize for "Best Performance", ahead of Norman Reedus.
