What is known

This is a home lab provided by Withings. It can perform human urine analysis. The device is installed in the toilet bowl and consists of two elements: a cartridge and a reader.

U-Scan is equipped with radars and a temperature sensor that you need to urinate on. No additional instruments are required for laboratory work.

The cartridge, depending on the modification, allowsdetermine the level of luteinizing hormone, hydration level and pH, or pH, hydration and vitamin C level. The first cartridge option is called Cycle Sync, and the second one is Nutri Balance. One cartridge is enough for about 100 tests.

The novelty will be sold in Europe at a price of €500. The start of U-Scan sales is scheduled for the second quarter of 2023.
