Xbox will officially start working in Ukraine

The Ministry of Digital Development has agreed with Microsoft on the official launch of Xbox services in Ukraine. Such

the agreement was reached during negotiations with Microsoft President Brad Smith at a forum in Davos.

“We agreed that the Xbox will be officially registered in Ukraine. Finally, it will be possible to register a Ukrainian account and the Ukrainian language will be available,” the ministry said.

Microsoft will also help Ukraine document Russian war crimes and is already working with a UN team to share information on war damage in Ukraine.

In turn, Brad Smith noted: "Microsoft has supported and will continue to support Ukraine."

Microsoft calculated that through their initiatives they provided Ukraine with digital support for $242 million. This includes financial grants, promotional campaigns, free access to the company's products and services.
