A week ago it became known that Xiaomi intends to expand the portfolio of mid-budget smartphones with a new
model.The device will be called Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE, essentially being a rebranding of the recent Xiaomi Civi 2, presented for the Chinese market. Now the Internet is already discussing another middling brand, which has surfaced in the same IMEI database. This time the device is called Xiaomi 13 Lite, but its model number (2210129SG) is exactly the same as the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE, indicating the company’s vague plans to make two rebrands of one Civi 2 at once. If so, we should expect Xiaomi 13 Lite 120-Hz 6.55″ AMOLED screen, Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, triple main camera (50+20+2 megapixels) and a pair of front cameras (32+32 megapixels), as well as 67-W charging 4500 mAh battery. The debut of the devices should probably be expected in the next couple of months.
