Users often complained about MIUI issues12 and MIUI 12.5, in connection with which Xiaomi had to create the MIUI Pioneer group, which was engaged in the prompt solution of all problems. The head of Xiaomi MIUI Experience Jin Fang admitted that the latest version of the software did not live up to the expectations of many users and apologized to them on behalf of the company.
It is the problems with the current firmware versionforced the manufacturer to postpone the presentation of MIUI 13 until the end of the year. Nevertheless, Xiaomi decided to demonstrate progress in fixing errors and introduced the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced shell. The new software version fixes about 400 problems of various levels, reduces the load on the chip by 15% and power consumption by 8%.
Firmware distribution will begin on August 13th. The flagship smartphones of the last two generations based on Snapdragon 888, Snapdragon 888+, Snapdragon 865 and Snapdragon 870 processors will be the first to receive it.
