Xiaomi delayed the release of Redmi K30 until 2020

As we wrote earlier, the Xiaomi Redmi sub-brand is preparing its first smartphone with 5G support, and it will be the Redmi K30.

It was expected that it would be released as early as next month, but company representatives themselves revealed the release dates.

When?

The information was shared by Xiaomi Vice President and Redmi brand head Lu Weibing, communicating with users on the Weibo social network.

“In 2020, Redmi will become a pioneer in the 5G field. See you with K30,” he wrote.

This means that Redmi K30 will be presented next year - most likely in January or February.

According to Lu, the manufacturer encountered some difficulties when developing the smartphone. But the company wants to bring the best quality devices to the market, so the launch had to be postponed.

Let us remind you that the Redmi K30 will receive a mid-budget MediaTek chipset with a built-in 5G modem and a widescreen display with a cutout for a dual front camera, like the Galaxy S10+.
