Lei Jun first spoke about Xiaomi Labs to a couplemonths ago. The laboratory is located in Xiaomi Science and Technology Park in Haidian District, Beijing. Xiaomi Labs has approximately 123 rooms, more than 90 of which are used as mobile phone labs.
They prepare for sales and pass 200 testssmartphones. Testing takes about a month before the models become available on the market. The devices undergo long-term testing to help ensure their stability and find potential problems with prolonged use.
