Xiaomi has announced a fundraiser for its new e-book on the Youpin crowdfunding platform.
What is known
The “reader” was called InkPalm 5 mini and it canboast compact dimensions. The device has a 115 gram plastic body, 6.9 mm thick, as well as a 5.2-inch Ink display with a resolution of 1280×720p and a pixel density of 284ppi. The panel is covered with tempered glass and supports 24 brightness levels. Below the screen of the device there is a touch button in the form of the company logo. Using it you can control the gadget.
InkPalm 5 mini runs on quad-coreprocessor paired with 1 GB of RAM and 32 GB of ROM. The gadget is powered by a 1400 mAh battery. Out of the box, the device comes with the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with Jingdong Reading, Variety Reading, WeChat Reading, Kindle Reading and Handy Reading services. By the way, the reader supports third-party applications.
Price
InkPalm 5 mini can be purchased now on Xiaomi Youpin for $91. It is not yet known when the device will be available for sale.
