Xiaomi has released an innovative device, which it positions as a “power bank for the Internet”
The new product will be produced in three modifications withdifferent capacities: 4, 8 and 16 gigabytes of data. The stated prices in China are 299, 399 and 499 yuan, respectively. This is equivalent to amounts of 1600, 2150 and 2700 hryvnia. Xiaomi expects to sell these devices in collaboration with mobile operators, which could help the company’s smartphones enter the US and European operator markets. This could potentially become the breakthrough technology that will completely destroy the existing mobile router market, because it will allow you to carry a device that is not directly dependent on the operator’s network coverage and the current load on the mobile network. This “Internet power bank” will allow you to connect up to 8 gadgets to the Internet via Wi-Fi or a laptop via Ethernet, providing a reliable and stable connection of 1 Gbps for an Ethernet connection and 300 Mbps for Wi-Fi.
The company plans to sell 2 million such devices by the end of 2023. There is no information yet about deliveries to Ukraine and the expected price. Follow our news - editorsggpromises to keep you updated.
