XDA Developers discovered that the Mi Gallery app now supports full 108MP photos.
What is known
Resolution support available for 4 smartphones withcodenamed "Tucana", "Draco", "Umi" and "Cmi". Most likely, the devices will be equipped with a Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor, since no other manufacturer has yet released a 108 MP sensor. The technical specifications and release date of the phones are still unknown. It is also unclear whether they will be released under the Xiaomi or Redmi brand.
The source says that Mi Mix 4 is not one of these four smartphones, but will be the first gadget with a 108-megapixel main camera.
