Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is the world's first smartphone to support Qualcomm Quick Charge 5 technology

The other day, Xiaomi showed its new flagship smartphone Mi 10 Ultra. The device, as it turns out, supports

not only the brand's 120W ultra-fast charging, but also new Qualcomm technology.

What is known

We are talking about the Quick Charge 5 standard, whichannounced a couple of weeks ago. It's 10 times faster than Quick Charge 1 and 70% more efficient than Quick Charge 4. The technology boasts Smart Identification of Adapter Capabilities, which helps extend battery life and delivers over 100W of charging power. Thanks to this, Quick Charge 5 is able to charge a 4500 mAh battery by 50% in just 5 minutes, and 100% in 15 minutes. By the way, with a standard power supply, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra battery takes a little longer to charge – in 23 minutes.

Let us remind you that Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra can stillboast an OLED display with an image refresh rate of 120 Hz, a quad camera with a periscope module that supports 120x digital zoom, a Snapdragon 865 chip, as well as 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of ROM (in the top version). Sales of the new product in China will start in a couple of days with a price tag starting at $763. The smartphone is unlikely to appear on the global market.
