Frame rate plays a big role in shooters, allowing high FPS players to react faster
What is known
XDA Developers user Max Weinbachconfirmed that Xiaomi Mi 9 has learned to run Fortnite at 60 frames per second. The smartphone is equipped with an 8-core Snapdragon 855 processor, an Adreno 640 accelerator and 6 GB of RAM. XDA notes that now gamers have a device with the “last dragon” not from Samsung, which was able to get the most out of Fortnite.
At the same time on the official Epic Games websiteThere is no official support for Mi 9, nor for S10, which can also squeeze 60FPS out of games. It looks like Epic should update the manual and add new smartphone models.
