Xiaomi patented a foldable smartphone with a design like that of Huawei Mate X

Despite the presence of prototypes, Xiaomi does not yet have its own foldable smartphone. But there is one more

development - a gadget in the form of a book.

In terms of shape and design, the smartphone is similar to the Huawei Mate X: it has a large screen, which when folded goes around the body, that is, it is located on the outside.

True, the image shows that the screen takes upnot the entire surface area: on the left side, under the double chamber, there is empty space. It is not yet clear what it is for, but it would be more logical to make either a cutout or a small module for the camera.
