Xiaomi promises a new smartphone with a 100 megapixel camera in the DxOMark rating: Mi 10 Pro?

Xiaomi is actively preparing for the presentation of its new flagship family Mi 10. In the meantime

company executives continue to intrigue users with new details.

What is known

Xiaomi Vice President and General ManagerRedmi brand Lu Weibing said that soon a new Xiaomi smartphone with a 100-megapixel camera will appear in the DxOMark ranking. This will happen after the Chinese New Year (January 25).

Most likely, Lou Weybing alludes to an olderflagship model Mi 10 Pro. It is he who is credited with a quad camera with a 108-megapixel main sensor. It is also rumored that it comes with a 20-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 12-megapixel telephoto and a 5-megapixel depth sensor.

Xiaomi seems to have inspired the recent success of Xiaomi MiNote 10 (aka Xiaomi CC9 Pro) with a 108-megapixel camera, which, after the release, shared the first line of the DxOMark rating with the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. However, now they have already moved Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G and Honor V30 Pro. But, perhaps, after the release of Mi 10 Pro, the arrangement will change again.

The official announcement date of the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro is not yet, but, most likely, the presentation will be held as part of the MWC 2020 exhibition at the end of February.
