Announcement of Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Turbo – latest Snapdragon 7+ Gen 1 and 1 TB

Xiaomi introduced another smartphone of the Redmi Note 12 series, which this time is the most productive

the solution of all.The model with the Turbo prefix became the world's first device with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 on board, which is accompanied by fast LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1. In addition, Xiaomi is relying on a design with rather narrow frames and the absence of a dedicated camera unit (a kind of mix of iPhone and Galaxy), a large AMOLED display with an adaptive frequency of up to 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 1000 nits, as well as a 5000 mAh battery with 67- W charging. The most important parts from a practical point of view were also delivered – stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos, 3.5 mm jack, Wi-Fi 6, NFC and that's all.

The situation in the camera is as follows:three main modules, a 64-megapixel main sensor with OIS, the capabilities of which are expanded by an 8-megapixel wide sensor with a 120-degree capture angle and a 2-megapixel macro camera, support for video recording in 4K@30fps. The front camera is mounted in a hole in the center of the screen, its resolution is – 16 MP, it is possible to record video 1080p@60fps. Image Brain 2.0 is responsible for the algorithms.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Turbo is offered in threecolors – black, white and blue. There are four memory configurations, and the top version is the one with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of ROM. Prices start from 1999 yuan. The table below shows prices without discounts – everything except the basic version is 200 yuan (2,300 rubles) cheaper at the start. There has been no information on the global market yet.
