Xiaomi tried to "fix" Mi 11 by releasing MIUI 12.5.8.0 update, but it didn't get better

Xiaomi continues to face problems with its flagship Mi 11 smartphones.

What's wrong

MIUI 12.5.2 update.0, released some time ago, led to the appearance of bugs on many Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO smartphones, including users complaining about overheating of the Snapdragon 888 processor on the flagship Xiaomi Mi 11, which is already characterized by high temperatures.

As a result, the developers released an updateMIUI 12.5.8.0, which should solve the problem. But after this, gadget owners from China reported that the update, although it eliminated overheating, added a new problem. Apparently, Xiaomi took the easy way out and simply cut back on the chip's performance.
