Xiaomi quietly showed off its new gaming laptop under the Redmi brand in China.
What is known
The new product was called Redmi G 2022.The device has a 16-inch display with a resolution of 2.5K, a refresh rate of 165 Hz, a brightness of 500 nits and a response time of 3 ms. The panel covers 100% of the sRGB color space. The new product has 16 GB of DDR5-4800 RAM and a 512 GB PCIe 4.0 SSD drive. Redmi G 2022 is powered by a 55.02 Wh battery. The new product has HDMI 2.1, as well as several USB-C ports with support for Thunderbolt 4. Out of the box, the laptop has the Windows 11 operating system installed.
Price and when to wait
Redmi G 2022 has already started selling in China. The novelty is available in three configurations:

- Redmi G 2022 (Intel Core i7-12650H + GeForce RTX 3050) – $1037
- Redmi G 2022 (Intel Core i7-12650H + GeForce RTX 3050 Ti) – $1081
