Yandex.Market and Ozon will start importing parallel import goods themselves

It has become known that the Ozon and Yandex.Market marketplaces are creating their own schemes for importing goods to Russia.

Kommersant noticed that Yandex.The market has posted several jobs related to international procurement. Yandex said that they are looking for new channels for the supply of equipment and expanding the direction of direct imports. This division will also deal with the import of goods through the so-called parallel import. The first batches of such equipment have already arrived at Yandex warehouses. Among them are dishwashers, ovens, hobs and video cards.

It is specified that Ozon also intends to deal with deliveries through parallel imports. Expert, partner of One Story Olga Sumishevskaya noted that due to such schemes, the cost of delivery will increase by 5-50%.
