According to screenshots from Twitter and Reddit, YouTube is experimenting with reducing the size of videos on its home page.
What's wrong
New home page design shown inimages, quite different from the current one. Videos are no longer divided into categories, fewer videos appear when scrolling, and the thumbnails are noticeably larger. So far, users don't really like it. Some people complain that the large thumbnails make it difficult to see the home page, while others say it's very disorienting.
This is not funny, @YouTube.I'm sorry, but this is the worst update I've ever seen and now homepage is just unusable, i can't look at thumbnails so big, my eyes are in pain right now. You can’t make everything gigantic, because now everyone behind my back can see my home page. pic.twitter.com/qejseeqdWU

The design is similar to that used inmobile devices. The YouTube mobile app shows larger images to make them more visible. The problem is that everything on the desktop looks too cluttered.
