Known
The drone of the French company is equipped with tenturbojet engines and can reach speeds of up to 250 km / h. The aircraft has a payload capacity of 200 kg. The maximum flight altitude is 3 km. At the same time, the declared values were not achieved within the framework of the tests. During the test, the head of the company demonstrated takeoff, landing and a coup in the air.
The device is equipped with a chair with organscontrol, and on the sides there are four blocks with two engines in each. Two more engines are located next to the cockpit. According to the manufacturer, JetRacer will continue to fly if two turbojet engines fail.
Zapata is currently working on the creationtwo additional JetRacer prototypes. The buyers of the new aircraft will be both private individuals and the military. In the case of the military, the machine can be used to fly from ship to shore and back. The cost of JetRacer has not yet been specified.
