ZTE Axon 10s Pro 5G: the world's first smartphone based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor

ZTE, unexpectedly for everyone, announced its new flagship smartphone - Axon 10s Pro 5G.

What is known

The new product looks similar to its predecessor Axon 10Pro is essentially an improved version of it. The device was the first in the world to receive the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with the X55 5G modem. The chip is built using a 7-nanometer manufacturing process and has 8 cores: four high-performance Cortex-A77 with a maximum frequency of 2.84 GHz and four energy-efficient ones with a frequency of 1.8 GHz. The new SoC works in conjunction with proprietary Z-Booster 2.0 graphics acceleration technology.

In addition, Axon 10s Pro also received supportWi-Fi 6, three cameras, curved display, LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 ROM. The device also became the manufacturer’s first smartphone to come with a pre-installed version of Android 10 OS and the new MiFavor 10 shell.

ZTE has not yet disclosed other characteristics, announcement date and price tag of the smartphone. Most likely, the full debut of the Axon 10s Pro 5G will take place at CES or MWC in 2020.
