ZTE Axon 10s Pro 5G: the world's first smartphone based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor

ZTE, unexpectedly for everyone, has announced its new flagship smartphone - Axon 10s Pro 5G.

What is known

New outwardly similar to the predecessor Axon 10Pro and, in fact, is its improved version. The device was the first in the world to receive a high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with an X55 5G modem. The chip is built on a 7-nanometer process technology and has 8 cores: four productive Cortex-A77 with a maximum frequency of 2.84 GHz and four energy-efficient with a frequency of 1.8 GHz. The new SoC works in conjunction with proprietary graphics acceleration technology Z-Booster 2.0.

In addition, Axon 10s Pro still received supportWi-Fi 6, three cameras, a display with curved edges, RAM type LPDDR5 and ROM UFS 3.0. Also, the device became the manufacturer’s first smartphone to come with a preinstalled version of Android 10 and the new MiFavor 10 shell.

Other characteristics, the announcement date and the price tag of the smartphone, ZTE has not yet disclosed. Most likely, the full debut of the Axon 10s Pro 5G will take place at CES or MWC in 2020.
