ZTE Axon 50 Ultra will lose the main chip, but get a new one

ZTE suddenly announced that in five days it will introduce its new flagship - Axon 50 Ultra. This happened against the background

almost complete absence of leaks and even rumors,It’s as if the smartphone doesn’t exist at all. But at the very first teaser, ZTE published a press photo of the smartphone. From it it became clear that the line would lose its main feature: the front camera would be located in a hole, and not under the screen, like in previous generations of Axon. The screen will be rounded at the edges, and the power button will be highlighted in red. The frame will be made of metal, as evidenced by the easily visible stripes of antennas.

In place of the sub-screen front camera on the ZTE Axon 50Ultra will come with a new feature - support for satellite communications. Like Huawei flagships, we are talking about transmitting messages via satellites of the Beidou navigation system. True, for some reason ZTE calls the Axon 50 Ultra the first smartphone with support for Beidou communications; perhaps ZTE has managed to implement more communication services than Huawei. The date of the announcement is also connected with this feature: it will take place on April 12, the sixty-second anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s flight into space. Like the Vostok-1 mission, the announcement will take place in the morning: 08:30 Moscow time.
