A week ago, ZTE announced its intention to present a new tablet at MWC 2023, not just a simple one, but with a 3D screen,
not requiring special glasses. The device is called Nubia Pad 3D and on the eve of the presentation the company decided to partially explain the “magic” its display. It consists of a special nano-layer of the display called DLB (Diffractive Lightfield Backlighting), which works in combination with an AI eye-tracking system from a pair of sensors hidden in the screen frame. The tablet itself, judging by the poster, not only has rectangular edges, but also has almost no roundings at the corners, which is extremely reminiscent of the recent ZTE Red Magic 8 Pro gaming phones. A full introduction to Nubia Pad 3D will take place on February 28th.
