The roof of Notre Dame can be printed on a 3D printer. Ink from ashes and debris

Entrepreneurs propose to collect the ashes and stones left after the fire in Notre Dame, chop them up and

turn into ink for 3D printer. This will preserve the natural color of the roof and walls of the cathedral after reconstruction, the company said.

“What if we take a stone that has survived several centuries, and not just give it up, but reuse it, and preserve the soul of the building?”

Eric Heboers, Conc3rde

The fire at Notre Dame occurred on April 15 andlast more than 10 hours. As a result, the cathedral’s spire and roof of the building collapsed, the walls and interior decoration were partially damaged.
